Out of Gas on Lover's Leap

The Setting for this play is a natural environment outdoors. We choose Cardiff Cliffs because of the dramatic views up the north coast and looking towards Orange County. The classic town of Cardiff ties into a small hometown feel where boy meets girl and tragedy ensues, The old classic car and the beach front homes create a perfect backdrop for a set. To enhance the emotions of the characters, direct spot lighting is used throughout the scene. The sunset scene requires extra warm to gold lighting on the faces, to the point where they begin to look angelical ( a prelude to the death scene). The clear sunny day with high surf creates a point of drama with the ocean beckoning to the characters beautiful yet ominous.
